The Met rooftop

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Rooftop (simply known as The Met Rooftop) is a delightful garden space located on the rooftop terrace of the New York City museum. The rooftop features breathtaking views overlooking Central Park and Big Apple’s prized architecture.

It usually exhibits a site-specific art installation (a garden sculpture) that changes from year to year. In 2021, the art installation was coyly dubbed As Long as the Sun Lasts by conceptual artist Alex Da Corte, featuring the Big Bird, a fictional character from the TV hit show Sesame Street. The rooftop also serves snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic drinks.
