Jeremy Deller is a British conceptual artist who was born in London in 1966. A graduate of the University of Sussex and Courtauld Institute of Art, Deller is a multimedia artist who uses installation, video, and conceptual art to explore relational aesthetics and instigate social interventions.

His work typically involves a large group of participants and carries strong political messages. Collaboration is the name of the game when it comes to the majority of Deller’s work. He has collaborated with Alan Kane, Williams Fairey Brass Band, and many others. He won the 2004 Turner Prize.
